Artist Bio *
Paul Brooker is a London-based ceramic artist with a background in Fine Art from Bath Spa University. In 2019, Paul began working in studio ceramics, where he creates pieces that blend contemporary aesthetics with traditional techniques.
Paul has showcased his work at the Royal Academy Summer Show, and continues to evolve his artistic practice. He now operates his own studio space, where he produces distinctive ceramic works that reflect the continuous growth and refinement of his craft.

Through narratives painted onto ceramics, my work explores the theme of power.
I am to depict the dynamics between individuals, communities, and the systems that govern us.
In my process, I combine both thrown and hand-built techniques, engaging with aspects of control and the power of the solo maker. Through this, I aim to underscore the relevance of craftsmanship in a world increasingly dominated by mass production.
