Frenzy

This work shows the motif of chimpanzee figures entangled in frenzied acts of collective aggression—an image inspired by the documentary series Chimp Empire which chronicles the volatile dynamics between rival chimpanzee factions in Uganda.

It underscores the continuity between primitive behavioural patterns to kill and rule, and those observed in modern human societies. Despite our advances, such instincts continue to shape our lives today.
